Our Team

Pastor Joe was born and raised right here in North Iowa. He has lived most of his life in rural areas and has a love for small town life. He studied religion and philosophy at Central College in Pella, IA and then went on to Trinity Evangelical in Deerfield, IL where he received his Masters of Divinity. His greatest joy and desire is to bring the Word of God and His ministry outside church doors. Even if that means we question the traditional assumptions of what “doing church” should look like.                                              

He lives near Sheffield with his wife Sabrina, his son Simon (9), and his daughter Selah (5). His passions outside of ministry include carpentry, fishing, shooting, reading, and game nights.
